Website for professional organization
> Taxonomy, information design, editing & project management
A regional chapter for professional indexers had relied on email newsletters to keep in touch with its geographically far-flung membership. I created a website for an online newsletter, which evolved into a blog. Professional development articles were indexed for easy findability.
Website redesign
I redesigned the existing website on a user-friendly platform for easy maintenance by busy volunteers who are not programmers or designers.

Project management
As blog editor, I managed volunteer contributors, administrators, and copyeditors. Together we produced content valued by professional indexers around the world.

Taxonomy
We wanted our collection of articles to be browsable at a glance. A topical index with cross-references nods to the traditional indexes users either produce or hire out. Creating a taxonomy of topics clarified our editorial scope and goals.
